Reporting concerns and how ePuP responds.
Reports help protect users and animals. ePuP assesses available information and may take proportionate action while recognising that a marketplace report is not itself proof of wrongdoing.

- Suspicious, misleading or duplicate adverts.
- Possible stolen dogs, fake identities, false documents or licence concerns.
- Underage puppies, puppy farming indicators, neglect or cruelty concerns.
- Possible prohibited-dog or unlawful dangerous-dog transactions.
- Scams, phishing, fake payments, threats, harassment or impersonation.
- Attempts to evade a previous ePuP restriction or ban.
How ePuP may assess a report
ePuP may review the advert, account history, verification status, messages or transaction-related information available to the platform, previous reports, technical signals and information voluntarily supplied by the parties.
ePuP may request documents or clarification.
Possible enforcement action
- No action where a report cannot be substantiated or does not breach ePuP rules.
- Advice, warning or requirement to correct an advert.
- Reduced visibility or temporary removal while information is checked.
- Restriction of messaging, advertising, payments or other functionality.
- Temporary suspension or permanent account termination.
- Preservation of relevant records and referral to authorities where permitted or required by law.
Appeals and repeated abuse
Where ePuP provides an appeal or review mechanism, users must submit accurate information. ePuP may maintain a decision where safety, legal or fraud risk remains.
Knowingly false, malicious or abusive reporting may itself breach the Community Standards.
No guarantee of investigation outcome
ePuP is not a court, police force, veterinary regulator or local authority. Marketplace enforcement decisions are separate from criminal, civil, licensing or regulatory decisions.
